FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

                                                                PEACE

So when the verse in Galatians says that the fruit of the Spirit is peace. It is knowing that when we have the Spirit in us and among us, We are able to sit in peace. The overwhelming peace that can comfort you during this time comes from the Holy Spirit within us. Peace is knowing that our God is in control.

The 3rd. Fruit of the Spirit is peace. The word peace appears 429 times in the Bible, which helps us understand why the phrase "Peace Be With You" is so important in the faith community.

Over the past year and some, we have experienced unprecedented global anxiety. People are stressed about finances, children, work, relationships, sickness, the list goes on. It's difficult to find peace during these circumstances.

Phil. 4:6-7---Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

God's perfect peace is an amazing gift that is hard to understand. How can people find peace when things are falling apart around them? The fruit of the Spirit of Peace provides the inner peace of mind and contentment even in less then peaceful situations. Peace is knowing that our God is in control.

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS FOR THEY WILL BE CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD (MT.5:9)

Peace isn't  easy, but it is beautiful. Peace can be found in the darkest of places, but it has to be cultivated on a daily basis. So as you go about your crazy day, as you tackle broken relationships, hurting wounds, and self doubt, remember SHALOM, remember the spiritual peace  Jesus gave His Disciples in their darkest hour and how He has now extended it to you. Bring that wholeness, completeness that can be found only in Christ, to a hurting world that needs healing.

Peace means "to be complete"," to be sound"

Numbers 6:26..."The Lord lifts up His countenance upon you, and gives you peace. Through God's mercy and grace, peace is bestowed upon those who pray to Him.

Romans 14:17 "For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."

May you choose to seek the Kingdom of God above all else. May you allow the Holy Spirit to bring heaven to earth, not only in your life, but everywhere you go. Seek a greater measure of communion with the Holy Spirit today and enjoy  the fruit of peace that comes from His nearness.

Remember Jesus is just a whisper away!

Jesus, You died upon à cross And rose again to save the lost. Forgive me now of all my sin, Come be my Savior, Lord,  and Friend, Change my life and make it new, And help me, Lord, to live for you.......

Many blessings to you and yours,

Shalom to your home,

Till next time,

LJ
